Short Research Description

My research is focused on water quantity and quality impacts of land use activities and land use change. Specific areas of interest include urban hydrology and stormwater management; cold regions hydrology; hydrologic modeling; and sediment, nutrient and pathogen transport in watersheds.

Significance:
My research contributes to understanding the impact of land management (agricultural and urban) on the quality of water resources that are used for various purposes (e.g. drinking water, irrigation, recreation). In addition we design and evaluate management practices to improve water quality and protect water resources.
