Short Research Description

My research focuses on cellular and molecular properties of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons in the hypothalamus and the mechanism of puberty onset. With in vivo and in vitro approaches we investigate the mechanism of GnRH pulse-generation, the rapid action of steroid hormones, and epigenetic control of neuronal maturation in GnRH neurons.
