Short Research Description

The Comparative Orthopedic Research Lab which I co-direct is comprised of a group of clinicians and researchers who are dedicated to the advancement of animal and human health. The laboratory's principal mission is to investigate fundamental orthopaedic problems that affect either animals or humans in order to identify the mechanisms that cause disease, or to develop treatments that will enhance the lives of individuals affected with these diseases. My areas of expertise are regeneration of musculoskeletal tissues, including enhancement of fracture healing; cartilage resurfacing techniques; tendon healing and regeneration, and development of long bone fracture repair methods.
