Short Research Description

My lab uses electrophysiological techniques to understand inhibitory mechanisms in the CNS, including a) the biophysical function of GABA receptors, b) how inhibitory transmission orchestrates information flow through neural circuits, and c) how malfunction of inhibition contributes to neurological disorders such as epilepsy.
