Short Research Description

I study vulnerable children's and families' experiences of living in high-disease, low-security communities, in many which there is a high level of environmental change and degradation. I am particularly concerned with how families struggle to learn about and enact basic survival strategies two generations in to the AIDS pandemic in Southern Africa.
