Short Research Description

The Thorne lab conducts studies devoted to understanding how drugs may be more efficiently delivered to the central nervous system. Research focuses specifically on diffusive and convective transport of proteins and other large molecules within the brain and the development, refinement, and optimization of strategies for central drug delivery utilizing the intraparenchymal, intraventricular, intrathecal, and intranasal routes of administration.
